India's trade deficit with China falls to USD 5.5 bln during April-June 2020

India’s trade deficit with China fell to USD 5.5 billion during the June 2020 quarter as compared to USD 13.1 billion during the same period a year ago. In a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said that the bilateral trade between the countries dipped to USD 16.6 billion during the June 2020 quarter as against USD 21.4 billion during the June 2019 quarter.
