India's real GDP to grow at 11% in FY22: Brickwork Ratings

India’s real GDP is project to grow at 11 per cent in 2021-22 from the estimated contraction of 7 per cent to 7.5 per cent in 2020-21 due to a faster economic recovery and on a low base, according to Brickwork Ratings. The agency expects the industrial sector to grow at 11.5 per cent and services sector to rise by 11 to 12 per cent in the next financial year. However, it warned that revival in sectors that fall under discretionary spending is likely to be delayed as the economy is still under the grasp of the pandemic.
