85% Indians prefer hybrid work model: LinkedIn report

Nearly 86 per cent of professionals in India believe that a hybrid work model will have a positive impact on their work-life balance, as per Future of Work study 2021, released by LinkedIn. The study shows that around 35 per cent professionals in India are burnt out due to increased workload amid pandemic, while 34 per cent opined that they are more stressed while working remotely. The study is based on responses of 1,108 professionals in the age group of 16 to 68, who worked from home amid Covid-19 pandemic restrictions. The survey captured the sentiment of the Indian workforce towards the impact of remote work, their plans to return to work and work model preferences for the future. The study further reveals that nearly 46 per cent of the country’s workforce wants to go back to the office, full time, because it makes them feel more productive and successful in a workplace setting.
