The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) added 1.7 million new subscribers on a net basis in April 2022. During the month, 922,752 new subscribers joined the EPF scheme, while 379,772 exited the scheme. Besides, 1.2 million members who had exited the scheme earlier, re-subscribed to it in April 2022.
