RBI estimates 6.1-6.3% GDP growth in Q2FY23

India’s real GDP must have grown between 6.1 per cent and 6.3 per cent in the September 2022 quarter, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) stated in its monthly bulletin. If this is realised, India is on course for a growth rate of about seven per cent in 2022-23. However, the central bank cautioned that the global economy continues to be clouded with downside risks, with global financial conditions tightening and deteriorating market liquidity amplifying financial price movements.
