State Bank of India (SBI) chairman Dinesh Khara has termed the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)’s first pilot for retail central bank digital currency (CBDC) as game changer. According to him, the digital currency would have durable effects and should ensure better monetary transmission at much lesser costs.
