Hiring intentions for Q1FY24 down 2%: Survey

Hiring intentions in India for the June 2023 quarter weakened to 30 per cent. These are two percentage points lower than for the March 2023 quarter and eight percentage points lower than for the year-ago quarter. The estimates are based on responses of 3,020 employers surveyed by the Manpower Group. These provide net employment outlook adjusted for seasonality. The survey data also shows that employers continue to face difficulty in finding the right talent.
