New foreign trade policy slated to be released by end March 2023

New Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) is expected to be released by the end of March 2023. It is aimed at increasing exports of goods and services to worth USD 2 trillion by 2030. The new FTP would also seek to handhold micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to build their financial capabilities, set up special zones for e-commerce exports and develop new mechanisms to support services related to artificial intelligence and Internet of Things.
