CapExdx
CapExdx is a service for researchers who would like to explore the dynamics of creation of new capacities in India.
CapEx is a unique database of investment intentions and the history of events of these intentions through their final outcomes. Each investment intention to create a new capacity, whether in mining, or manufacturing or even services, is a project in the CapEx database.
The CapEx database contains information on over 60,000 such projects. Of these over 35,000 have been completed, a little over 5,000 were abandoned and the remaining exceeding 13,000 are currently under various stages of implementation.
CapExdx is a service that makes this database available to academic researchers for their analysis.
CapExdx can be used along with Prowessdx as the two share the same company code and companies are the principal agents to set up new capacities.
